KINFAUNS STABLES RIDING FOR THE DISABLED

Tea with a Pony

Are you or someone you know living with dementia or have a long term health condition such as a terminal illness, chronic mental health, mobility issues or have a learning disability then why not join us at our riding arena at Castle Farm, Kinfauns and be entertained by taking part in our popular Tea with a Pony sessions.

On arrival you will be welcomed into our viewing room and we begin with a short health & safety briefing. You will then be offered a lovely cup of tea/coffee with a slice of cake as you watch a pony in action in our arena. After this you will meet our ponies and they will be happy to let you give them a brush and treats. Walking through the stables and tack area you will experience the sights and smells of the yard. We are indoors so this activity is not weather dependent.

Family members are welcome to come along and join us to revisit memories and create new experiences together. Suggested minimum donation of £10 for participant and one accompanying family member/carer. Additional guests may come along for an additional £5 per person.
