Disabled Riding Lessons

As a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA),we offer group lessons and horse care for people with many disabilities. Lots of our clients are recommended to join us by medical professionals. Our main objectives are to provide a safe, fun and supportive environment to improve the rider’s conditions of life.

Horse Care For Disabled

As an alternative or in addition to horse riding disabled and additional support needs participants can do horse care. We offer proficiency tests for this activity but for some the joy of simple interaction with our equines will provide benefits on a physical, mental and emotional level.

Pony Rides

Suitable for anyone over the age of 4 years old, including adults, this 15-minute experience is an ideal introduction to horse riding and for those just wanting a leisurely stroll on a pony. It is also suitable for disabled riders who are unable or do not wish to ride in a group lesson. (subject to medical conditions)

Birthday Parties

Are you looking for something different to do for your son or daughter’s birthday? For fun, laughter and crazy games why not book a pony party with us for a day full of special memories. A pony party at Kinfauns includes the following - The children have a session on a pony where they do some basic riding then play fun party games. We have leaders to assist so no previous riding experience is necessary. The children will then have the opportunity to groom and interact with a pony. You will then have the use of a private room.

Holiday Club

Our summer holiday club offers your child the opportunity to enjoy a 3 hour equine related activity.

Tea With A Pony

Are you or someone you know living with dementia or other long term disability? Then why not join us at our riding arena at Castle Farm, Kinfauns and enjoy a brand new experience.
